Party Time! – Just4FunCrafts

Aloha! It is party time on my blog today with this fun Toucan card, and there are two new Toucan sets available for your choosing. These sets would be perfect for any friend who loves the tropics, or if you are getting ready to throw a pool party.

Creating this Card:

For this card I stamped the Hawaiian Floral background stamp onto white paper using a green Memento stamp pad. The water-look was simply white paper with teal, or blue colors, and colored in a horizontal stroke.

The main image from the Toucan Party was colored, hand cut, and then popped up off the card to give it dimension. The tiki comes from the other great toucan set, Tropical Toucan, and was colored, cut, and layering over the toucan.

I didn’t have a Whimsy Stamps palm tree die that would fit with this image, so I decided to draw one really quick. I colored it up in black to look like like a silhouette shape, and tucked it behind the toucan. You can use the word “time” from the Toucan Party stamp set, or the words “party time”, but I decided to add the word “party” using the Bold ABC dies.
