Today I am sharing a second card using the Flamingo Fun set that was released this week. These silly guys are having a blast on the beach. I would love to head to the beach myself. I combined some fun Whimsy products that felt beach-like to me.
Creating the Card:
I thought I would see if I could get multiple card styles using a Slimline die and it works. I cut down the Slimline Waves die to fit an A2 size and if you look closely you can see where I cut it down. This layer was adhered to the light pink stamped Seashell background that I then inked in blue, only in the corners of the sections of the Slimline die.
After the card base was all layered up I colored up two of the flamingos and then cut them out and placed them onto the card. The one peeking out looks like he is changing his clothes don’t you think? Snicker, Snort. Of course a card isn’t complete without some fun sentiments and this set has a bunch of them for options. Didn’t this sentiment give you a giggle? I love it!
