When I saw this La-La Land Crafts July Club release I about flipped out with excitement because I just loved these Apes and their antics. These guys are just too wild! If you are not familiar with Club La-La Land Crafts be sure and scroll down for the info, because they are a smokin’ deal.
I knew exactly what I was going to create when I saw these silly guys. A barrel of monkeys!! How many of you played Barrel of Monkey’s as a kid? The bottom sentiment was one that I created…”without you (in my life) it’s just a barrel”, without the monkey.

If you are looking for the barrel you are gonna have to crawl into my brain…sorry I drew it, but I am sure you can die cut an oval and cut off the top and bottom and make your own barrel. I colored up the Ape About You rubber stamps and hand cut them out. Each one has its own cute little expression. The Apes were then placed on, in and over the barrel.
These silly boys, (they are boys because girls don’t act like this, right?), then were placed on a large Stitched Tag. Prior to placing them on the tag I added the mountains and tree-line from the Safari Skyline die that is included in the kit. This layer was placed onto a stamped background using the Seas the Day rubber stamp set. I see that it is currently out of stock but get on the Waiting List by clicking the button under the product. you will get great use out of this stamp.
