Special delivery is on the way and this hardworking stork is carrying a little baby hedgehog. This new clear stamp set just released from Whimsy Stamps is sure to be a hit. Hedgie Love is Ca-ute and has both stamps of the expecting parents (or doting Grandparents) and the sweet delivery stork! Dustin Pike does it again with his fabulous illustrations.
I bet we know a lot of people getting ready to deliver a bundle of joy soon and this is the perfect set to use for a congratulations…or a “you know what causes this” card.
Creating the Card:
As you can see the main focus around the image is clouds. These clouds were created using the Grass and Clouds Edger die, over and over and over. each layer popped up and then the stork was placed amongst them.
When creating the background paper with the Karin Brushmarker Pro I applied ink to a craft mat, and spritzed the mat with water, then placed the white paper onto the wet ink to soak it up. After the paper was dry I die cut it with the Card Builder Window die and popped up the outer layer. Before I adhered the inside piece, I stamped it with the stars from the Wish Upon a Star clear stamp set in blue.
A card isn’t complete with out a sweet sentiment, so I added one from the stamp.
