Just Beachy

Everything might not be “just peachy” but for this release it definitely is “just beachy”. This fabulous new clear stamp set by Dustin Pike is called Hippo Fun in the Sun. I love every single character in this set. Over the next week or so you will get to see cards using them all. This is currently available in the store but I am sure won’t last long.

Creating this Card

What fun it was to color this one up and was just as simple to cut it out and create this card.

For this card I used the circle frame from the Shaker Maker die set to create a “port hole”. The sun from the Up in the Clouds die set was then placed in the center of the port. I love the dimension it had created even without the stamped image. Once they were placed on the fun orange pattern paper, I stamped out the sentiment and layered it up as the “grounding” of the main image. The image was then adhered to the sentiment and a wave from the Kinetic Straight Waves was added to complete the card.
