Are you looking for that quick and easy card to create over and over for your last minute Christmas cards? Don’t panic anymore, this is it!! Chickadees and Berries has just been released and you will want to swoop it up while it’s still available.
Creating the Card
Be warned..it isn’t a hard card! After slapping some color on the image..no, really…just “moosh” the colors together to get a rough blend, I die cut the image out using the Pierced and Stitched Circle dies. A little fussy cutting had to happen to get the die under the overhanging pieces of the image, but nothing you can not do while watching a late night show. Just cut around the tails and berries. Little tip…cut further in then you really want to go, this allows the die to get right up close and personal to the location you want it to cut. Once done pop it up on the front of the card.
For the background I chose to watercolor the Tartan Plaid background stamp , spritz with water and stamp. You may choose to just stamp it with your favorite ink. Add ribbon and a sentiment…BAM! Done!! SEEEEE? I told you…Easy!!
