Always an Adventure

Need something for that outdoorsy person in your life? This might be the stamp you want! I love it combined with the new Path in the Woods background too. After doing this card I feel like I just finished hiking somewhere cool. This Camping Dragon clear set has it all, from a little marshmallow roasting to some fun forest friends.

Creating the Card

First off I colored the Path in the Woods background. Using my Slanted Blinds die from The Stamp Doctor I die cut it out and placed it onto black cardstock. I love how this die takes simple to unique! It comes in straight cut, dash and dot, or dash lines. Or grab the bundle for a special price. I adhered this layer onto the card base using foam tape. This gave it nice dimension.

Next comes the main design. I colored and cut out the hiking dragon from the Camping Dragons stamp set and popped him up onto the card base layers. A hike doesn’t feel complete without trees so I added my favorite trees from Evergreen Trees die set. Using a sentiment from the set I stamped on one of the “slants” and popped it up on one of the pieces. Dome! And perfect for your outdoorsy friend.
