What’s Hangin’

I was so thrilled when I saw this adorable Moose on the loose in the Whimsy Store! Moose Tangle is one of my favorites from the Dustin Pike line of stamps! He sure has gotten himself into trouble by the looks of it though. I decided to make him into another Slimline card and boy was this a fun one. Bright and cheery and…with a bit of humor.

Creating the Card

I got my shaker on with this card. After die- cutting the frame using the Marquee Slimline die, I turned it into a shaker. I filled the shaker with the fabulous Sprinkletz. These are super fabulous shaker elements. I already knew I was coloring the bulbs on the image with the generic Christmas bulb colors so this paper worked perfectly. I placed the shaker layer onto some matching Doodlebug pattern paper and placed it on a card base measuring 4 x 9. The main image, Moose Tangle, was colored and fussy cut out and placed on the lower portion of the card with the sentiment from Mistletoads clear set onto the Quick Strips die set. To complete the card I cut out the “oh balls” using the Bold ABC dies and colored them with matching markers. Snicker Snort. Funny right?
