It is getting to be that time where we all work on our Christmas cards in hopes to get a ton done and mailed out. I personally always have good intentions, but usually only get a handful done (and none mailed). Are you one of those that actually mail cards still? My hat is off to you!!
In the spirit of Christmas I thought I would create some special cards to teach in the November local class. This is one that comes from the new Whimsy release and is called Christmas Doves.
Creating this Card
This was quite simple to create! Just layers, no dies and some relaxing coloring! I wanted to stick with less “normal” color combo so I went with red and dark blue for this card. Finding the right sentiment took me a little more time but after digging in my stash I found the perfect one! You can find amazing flourish sentiments at Stampendous that will compliment this stamp set. I finished the card off with a bit of bling over the berries.
Remember when coloring a white object all you need to do is put in the shadows.

Beautiful! Did you create the background by dotting with a Copic after coloring the blue?
The stamp has all the details in it making the coloring so easy.
