This card is me in a nutshell. I love plaid, skulls, black, and a bit funny, so this fit me to a T. Oh yes, and bit weird too! This clear stamp set, Goth Girl, is a brand-spankin’ new release from Whimsy Stamps. I know you know someone who would love this set! Creating this card was fun and easy.
Creating the Card
This card was pretty quick to create. I did some random stamping with the sentiment and the little skull. After coloring the little skulls I used the newer Checkerboard die to cut out the lower portion of the card and cut it down, layering it on the complimenting color cardstock. After stamping the Gingham background in black, I placed it in the upper portion of the card. I popped up a white panel with the main sentiment over the two background pieces. The two large skulls were colored and hand cut apart (for the top part and lower part of the sentiment space). After popping up the skulls I added a little enamel dot to complete it.
See, simple and …er…..sweet!
You can find the pieces available now through Whimsy stamps. Have fun!
