For all of you horse lovers out there, this one is for you! You can see this horse is feeling its freedom, the call of the wild. The stamp is part of the latest release from Whimsy Stamps and is called Horse Scene.
Creating the Card
The horse was colored leaving white on his rump and some dappling. Don’t you love how you can color this any color you choose only limited by your imagination? You could event add a horn to create a unicorn.
The background was created using Burlap large background stamp. If you make your own backgrounds to match it adds that special touch and allows you to match to the desired colors you are looking for. I wanted to create some depth to the image by placing it behind the fence in Kinetic Curved Hills die set. Using my favorite branch die from Christmas Branches to make the fence appear to be in mid-ground and then topping it off with a chipboard sentiment , in complimenting colors, by Make It Crafty and sold here in the states by Whimsy Stamps .
