Summer Fun – Just4FunCrafts

I am sure most of us are ready for summer. With Summer comes outdoor Birthday parties, pool parties and barbecues. This stamp set is perfect for that special invite. I thought I would create a more simple card, as we all know these cards need to be mass produced. I think you will love this set.

Creating this Card:

The main die used over and over for this set is a favorite Zig Zag Stitched rectangle die. With this die set you can use it once for a fun stitch or use multiples at one time for a fun framed look. The Bottom layer was designed with fun dots to match the main focal image, then die cut with the largest stitched die. The next layer was cut out to be slightly bigger then the frame, and colored black. The frame was created using two of the zig zag rectangles and then popped up off the card. The Summer Fun image was then stamped on the frame insert and colored with my OLO Markers. I used the OMG! die for the main sentiment, coloring the shadow portion. I finished it off with the little “party” sentiment from the Gargoyle Birthday clear stamp set.
