Have you checkout out the new Whimsy release? It has a cool birthday vibe. This is one of the two of the “ancient” clear stamps that is available. I love this quote that is part of the stamp set. For this card I added an age using die cuts, and accentuated the “isn’t old” portion of the sentiment. This cave man looks serious. get out of the way!
Creating this Card:
The first thing I did was to create the frame for the card. After die cutting a rectangle using the Wonky Stitched Rectangle die, I die cut out the center using the Notched Rectangles die. The frame was colored to look like animal print, and the inside of the frame was colored with a volcano using my OLO Marker. I stamped the sentiment, and then added a Matt to match. The frame was popped up with the sentiment, with the inside adhered down inside the frame. After cutting the large numbers and words twice, and layering them, I adhered them to the card front. The main image was added to complete it.
