OH MY! I couldn’t resist the cuteness of this adorable otter set, by illustrator Crissy Armstrong. This makes the perfect hello card don’t you think? This is just one of the fabulous new sets released through Whimsy Stamps, in the latest mini release.
I colored these cuties with my OLO Markers, and the three little guys on the left are all in the OLO grays. I love how OLO has a red-gray, warm-gray and a cool-gray. The red-gray is something other companies don’t have, and the cool-gray has a purple hue to it. Super fun! c
Creating this Card:
This card was created on the fun Mix n Match papers. I love all the color choices and simple patterns that keep from distracting from the featured images. I separated the pattern using the Hello Word and Shadow die, and added a few sentiments to it from the stamp set.
After coloring up two of the images in the Otter Variety stamp set, I cut them out. It makes it easy when there are outline dies. I combined the little otter waving to the stack of otters so it looked like the crew was sending a hello.
