Hoppy Easter – Just4FunCrafts

It is time to start playing around with the bunny theme cards, and this one comes with eggs too. The latest release from Whimsy Stamps is EGG-ceptional. Combined with the fun papers in the Mix n Match paper packets makes it a breeze. Check out the details below.

Creating this Card:

For this card I layered the purple dot paper, from the 6×6 Mix n Match 1, and purple cardstock mat, onto the card base. I used the Diagonal Dots embossing folder to bring interest to the white cardstock, and popped its up off the lower portion of the card. Using some of the gingham paper out of the paper packet, I created the appearance of a tablecloth, by cutting it at an angle and placing it on the white cardstock. After coloring, and hand-cutting out the bunny on the egg, and a second egg (bunny part hidden), I placed him in the bowl from the Build a Basket dies set. This was placed on the tablecloth with foam tape towards the top for stability. I added the sentiment using the Sweet Word and shadow die set, and a complimentary gingham flag to match.
