Last call on the Catherine Pooler InkAversary flash sale, 15% off the delicious stamp pads, with a plethora of colors to choose from! Do you see the Chevron paper? That was created using a background stamp! I bet you wouldn’t have guessed it. Getting crisp images can be difficult, but not with these stamp pads.
Creating this Card:
For this card above you can see that after coloring up the Penguin & Bear stamp, I die cut it out using the Extreme Postage die. Then it was layered onto a blue card layer, and by doing this it helps to separate it from the pattern papers. The pattern paper I used for the top portion was a petite dot paper from Doodlebug, and (like I said before) the lower portion was stamped using the Catherine Pooler Something Borrowed blue stamp pad, and the Chevron rubber background stamp. Have you seen all the background stamps at Whimsy yet, because you just might want to check them out. The main image was placed over the pattern paper, and then layered onto another larger Extreme Postage layer.
Most cards need a sentiment, so I decided to use the Cutie ABC die set to finish the card.
