Whale, I sure to hope you love this card as much as I had fun creating it! The delicious dies and stamp involved in the making of this ocean scene are just the best. La-La Land Crafts has done it again!
Creating this Card:
Let me start with this fun Summer Vibes paper packet. There is such a fun range of papers, but for this card I decided to use the one that mimicked the water-spouts from the whale. I placed this paper in the background, and layered it with complimenting cardstock. The top layer, that is popped up, is from the ingenious Under the Sea die set, and as you can see I just used a portion of the largest die.
After adding one of the sentiments from the clear stamp set Hey Chum, and layering it, I added a die cut rope from the Ropes die set. The lower portion of the card was created by layering the pieces from the Seaside die, and then popping it up off the card base. Once I colored and hand cut the whale out, I slipped it into one of the waves, and added a second rope to the bottom. The last thing to do was to add a palm tree. The palm tree I used has since been discontinued, but lucky for you there are two other great options from the La-La Land Crafts store.
