In my first post this week I mentioned there was a stamp set that I drew up, in this release. Originally my intention wasn’t to turn my drawing into a stamp set, it was just to draw some of the Colorado wildflowers I have been seeing around me for just for fun. That is how this set came about. I have colored them in both Karin watercolor markers, as well as my Sketchmarker Brush Pro alcohol markers, and love both of the results. You will get to see another card with this stamp set later this week. I hope you enjoy it, as much as I do!
Creating this Card:
This Sketchy Floral clear stamp set works so beautifully with the Slimline Pocket die set. As soon as I had the stamp set in my hands I knew exactly how I was going to use it. After stamping onto watercolor paper, I die cut it into a pocket. The pocket was then layered onto purple cardstock.
The main pattern paper layer on the card base were from my favorite 6×6 paper packet, Bandana (and I think it is time to reorder another packet already). Keeping the layout pretty focused on the main image, I added a simple sentiment using the Love Word die set.
I can not wait to see how you color up, (or emboss), using this stamp set! Be sure and tag me on facebook so I can take a peek!

So lovely!
I really love this Jennifer! The card design is gorgeous, the pocket is a fabulous touch but your colouring absolutely steals the show! Divine! Hugs, Wends xoxo
I love how you colored the image. At first, I thought it was a napkin card.
thank you Laurie
