I thought this silly duck was so cute, and combined with some fun sticky ruler tape worked so perfectly. This image would also work great for a “head over heels for you” card don’t up think?

Creating this Card:

Do you want to create something fun and simple? Using the Wonky Stitch Rectangle die, and some white cardstock, I cut out the card front, and this layer was popped up off the card base.

I had this cool ruler tape in my stash from Icraft Ruler tape, and I used it to create a criss-crossed pattern. I felt it needed a “ground”, so I creates grass using grass strips from the Grass and Cloud Edger die. If you don’t have colored cardstock that matches, sometimes it is just as easy to color white to coordinate.

Once the main image was colored and hand-cut out, I popped it up over the grass that was placed on the lower portion fo the card, and added a strip of the ruler under the ducks feet for dimension.
