Peek-a-boo! Another fun card using the Lucky Duck clear set that was just released from Whimsy stamps. I think the colorful look, along with the black and white backgrounds make this card pop!
Creating the Card:
I would love to point out the background stamps that I used to create this card, because I am a huge fan of the Whimsy Backgrounds. By purchasing background stamps, you can stop buying so much pattern papers, because the flexibility of the stamps are more appealing to me. Have you checked out all the background options Whimsy carries? You can find them here.
if you look you can see I used two different backgrounds, and just simply stamped them in black ink. If you do not plan on coloring over the background with alcohol markers, then Versafine Onyx stamp pad will give a fabulous crisp black image.
The peeking duck (or would that be a Peking duck) was actually colored prior to thinking about the card layout. After I cut it and some of the flowers in the set out, I decided to keep them the main focus and that was why the rest was left black and white. I think it works.
