First Snow

There is something about the first snow that is so magical.  This stamp gives you the opportunity to create that first snow and is nice and easy to color too.  This stamp is part of the latest Whimsy Stamps release, and can now be found in the Whimsy store.  If you love Whimsy stamps as much as I do, be sure and ask your local store to start carrying this line of stamps.  We love to support local and keep them going.

Christmas Cards, card making, whimsy stamps

Creating the Card:

This is pretty much a color it, and layer it kind of card.  After coloring up the Pine Bough background image I cut it down to the image edge.  This image was layered a couple times before popping it up on some of the Whimsy Blurry Flurries 6×6 pattern paper.  I added the sentiment layer in the same way after stamping Christmas from the Everyday Scripted sentiment.  Using the Marvy Snow Marker, I applied the thick liquid appliqué to the top of the pine and pinecones.  Once you heat it with the heat gun it pops up to create the look of snow.  To finish off the card I added ribbon and some complimenting Nuvo Drops.
