Pumpkin Kitty

I love combining my cards with new and older products.  It makes me feel good to use my stash.  How often do you use your “old” stuff?  Here is another fun fall card using the fabulous new Boo die set and the Spooky Kitties clear stamps, combined with some fun older dies (still currently available).

More details below if you dare…

Creating this Card:

Using the Comic Halftone Stencil, I created the background paper.  I decided to use my airbrush and Copics for this, but you can easily use stamp pads and an applicator to create the same look.  Once the background was done I used Build-A-Pumpkin-Patch die set from the last years release to cut out the center space.  The outer layer was popped up onto black cardstock, and the pumpkin was adhered straight down.

The order that I created this scene was to color and cut-out the kitty from Spooky Kitties clear stamps, and then pop him up off the front of the pumpkin space, slightly under the edge of the opening.

Wanting something that would make this card pop even more, I decided to used the ghosts and the large word from the Boo die set.   Each piece was cut in white and backed in black to make them stand out.  The Ghosts were popped up off the card, and the word Boo was adhered straight down.

The last this I did was wrap the card front with ribbon and added the bow.  Of course this is obviously a not-so-spooky card, even with the ghosts.
