Celebrate – Just4FunCrafts

Everyone has something to celebrate and this card is the perfect kind to show that you are celebrating with them. Simple but elegant and easy to create with the right dies and stamps. Check out the card creation steps below for inspiration.

Creating This Card:

For this card I was actually using the leftover image from the last card I created using the Birch Frame clear stamp set and I wanted to keep it simple in appearance. After cutting out the nest that was easily colored I placed it on a diet branch from Christmas Branches die set.

I created the clouds using a paper towel and an airbrush machine which gives it the soft feathered look, and then die cut using the Wonky Stitched Rectangles and popped up. I layering it onto the panel that I stamped using the NEW Cross-stitched Hearts background.

To finish it off I needed a sentiment so I decided to use Celebrate Word and Shadow die. First I needed matching paper so I colored a gradient of the blue colors onto alcohol ink friendly paper and then die cut the words out of it. These words were then layered onto the “celebrate” shadow which was cut out of the complimenting brown cardstock. Because they are delicate I decided to adhere them straight down to the cloud layer.

Simple and elegant and perfect for a slew of occasions. This could even be done in baby card colors.
