Perk up! – Just4FunCrafts

Need a little perking up? How about a cool coffee set. This set is flexible too as some of those drinks looks like a milkshake to me. Either way you color them they are cute! Just released and available in the Whimsy store. I have added products and links below.

Creating the Card

I really had “a latte” of fun creating this card. I have been looking for the opportunity to use the Coffee Cup die I had and this was the perfect moment. It pairs so nicely with the new Cool Beans clear stamp set.

After stamping the Curly Q’s background in a complimenting color, I popped up a white embossed layer in the center of the card, and next added the two petite dots die cut coffee cups that were created with a little shading using my Copics. The two little smiling coffee cup images were colored and cut out and popped up over the die cut cups to give the dimension. Of course I had to color up the hearts and beans as little accessories to the main focus of the card. If this isn’t the happiest of cards I do not know what is!
