Bat Juice, Yum

You could say I went bat sh$!t crazy on this one.  The latest clear set, Going Batty, from Dustin Pike is so much fun.   Whimsy Stamps and has these adorable bats, a pile of pumpkins and a bunch of cute sentiments all in this one clear set.  I bet bat wing juice gives you super powers.  It’s the latest thing, all the cool kids are doing it!

Creating the Card

I am a huge skull fan so this new Goth Skull background made me weak at the knees, or was it the bat juice?

After stamping on the white cardstock using black ink, I airbrushed some matching colors onto the skull background.  I cut it down to a shorter front panel and dry embossed the top white panel with an embossing folder.  Using my Whimsy Pierced and Stitched Circle die set I created the base of the moon onto some glossy paper and airbrushed it with my Copic Markers in the BV colors, and with a quick spritz of rubbing alcohol, the moon was born.

The background papers were separated using the Kinetic Straight Basics die.  After all my layers were adhered and popped up I needed a stand-out sentiment, so I created one using the Bold ABC die set.  Coloring and hand cutting the images is quite easy as they are simple lines and wide open spaces.

These bats look like they are having such a blast.  I am sure you will have a blast too once this Going Batty stamp set arrives in your hot little hands!  You can click on the links below to be taken to the Whimsy Stamps site, or ask your local store to order these in for you.
