Retro Camping – Just4FunCrafts

Flamingos, bright cheery, retro, black and pink…need I say more? This is my second card using Cozy Campers from Newton’s Nook Designs. When I think retro campers all the things I imagine are in this set! I love how you can use one set to get so many different styles of cards. You can see my other card HERE.

This warm and inviting camper was just asking to be colored in fun retro colors don’t you think? I random stamped the background with a darker pink stamp pad and then colored in all the hearts and Flamingos with R81. I love creating my own background paper when the sets give smaller images to stamp. It was a huge bummer to cover so much of it up, but it just worked out that way for this card. I also used some of the fun frame dies from the Framework die set. What a great versatile die set. I know I will get a lot of use beyond just my Guest DT spot…it is now in my favorite-die pile.
