I guess blogger wanted to show you this little cute that I hadn’t published before. He is from Stampendous and is perfect for those summer parties. I colored the waves and added opaque white for a little dimension.
First Layer – Color image using your favorite medium. Using Opaque White (by Copic) add to the white caps of the waves for dimension. Cut image to 2 7/8 x 3 3/8 and layer onto 3 x 3 5/8 dark blue card stock and then onto 3 1/4 x 3 3/4 light blue card stock.
Second Layer – Cut dot pattern paper to 3 1/2 x 2 7/8 and layer onto 3 3/4 x 3 1/8 light blue card stock. Place onto 3 7/8 x 3 1/4 dark blue card stock. Wrap twice with twine.
Bottom Layer – Cut plaid patten paper 4 x 5 1/4 and place onto 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 light blue card stock and then onto a dark blue card base (A2 tent fold)
Assembly – Using foam pop up tape place image onto second layer. Place second layer onto the card base assembly using foam pop up tape as shown in photo. Cut 3 little banner flags and place on top left corner of card. place twine on top and place buttons centered to the three flags.
Darling card and perfect to welcome the first day of summer (of course we've been having our high temps since the end of April lol). I love how the white accents really make the waves pop (and the banner flags seem like they are waving in that tropical breeze). TFS (and I hope I learn how to do this at your upcoming Copic Boot Camp).
OMGosh this is so darn cute, I love it.
