Ghost Stories

I really got creative with this card.  It is so dimensional it feels like it is coming off the page…wait, it IS!  I had a lot of fun making it, and using things I had around the house to create it.  I shared some of the details below.

The book was created from a brown paper bag from a food shopping trip.   A bit of ink distressing on the paper, and it creates a more worn looking book.  The skeleton was created by die cutting out of the paper bag, placing the skull on a soft (foam) surface and gently running the stylus over the paper with a light pressure.  This gave the skull a round appearance. By gently running the stylus on the paper and it breaks down the fibers, allowing for an embossed look.  Once it was shaped, I stuffed it with tissue, and painted it white.

Of course a ghost story isn’t complete without some ghosts coming out of it.  The Boo die set is a perfect addition.  I hope you enjoyed the fun of this card.
