Happy Hanukkah

Most might not be able to spell it, but that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate it.  It is hard to find stamps and dies for Hanukkah, so here you go!  An easy way to create cards for this Jewish holiday.  The paper is beautiful, the dies are perfections…and the clear stamp sets throws a little humor into it.

If you don’t know Hanukkah is December 14th – 22nd this year.  It is the Jewish festival of lights.  Where the A nine-branched candelabrum called a hanukkiah is used, with one candle lit on the first night and an additional candle lit each subsequent night.  It is a time of gift giving, games and special fried foods representing the oil of the light that kept the temple’s menorah going for 8 days during a time of turmoil.   Just thought you might want a little Jewish history.
