Even though I live in the mountains in Colorado, I am drawn to the sea where I spent most my life. There is something special about salt air, seagulls singing, and sand beneath your toes. I always look forward to the moment I can breath in the salt air. In the meantime I can dream. Here is a new nautical set to take me mentally home by the sea.
Creating the Card:
Let’s “dive” into these products, so you can see what I did to create this card. I started out with the Seashells and Sunshine rubber stamp for the background. I stamped it in grey so you can’t see the lines as much. After lightly coloring it in blues and greens I placed it on the card base. The Retro Mod frame was die cut out and colored in the blues to match. I popped it up off the card base layer, and added some white gel pen to carry on the waves from the background stamp.
The sentiment from Positives clear stamps was stamped, die cut out, and added to the center of the frame. All the images you see here are part of the Salt Life clear stamp set. I colored them, cut them out and created a collage at the bottom of the card. You can create your own collage, depending on what you choose from the set.
