Sending good vibes your way with this chillin’ monkey in a leaf hammock. This is another one of the stamps in the Banana Bunch clear stamp set. I thought it would be fun to put him in a tropical scene. By keeping everything black silhouette, it allows for the monkey to stand out. Check out all the fun details below.

Creating this Card:

Okay, here are some fun details. I started with a white A2 piece of cardstock. The Wonky Stitched Rectangle was die cut to create a window. The outer portion was popped up and inside piece adhered to the card base. The Build an Island dies were perfect for this card, so I die cut the trees, colored them black and adhered to the card base layer. The monkey image was colored, cut and popped up inside the “window”. I thought I would use the Weird-O Frame as a border for this card (instead of a frame), so I die cut it out, cut it apart, and colored it black. This covered up some of the lower portion of the island, and gave a cleaner look. Once everything was put together I drew wonky lines on the upper and lower portion with my OLO marker to match. I finished the card with a sentiment. This sentiment came from the Red Panda Beach stamp set.
