Did you snag the Evergreen Trees dies yesterday, but forgot to get this fabulous tent die? There is still time! I thought I would have some fun using all dies for this card with minimal coloring. Check out the products below.
Creating this Card:
This is actually a similar layout to yesterdays card, and also using a lot of the same products. Its amazing how you can change the look with some slight variations.
For this card I die cut the Happy Camper die using white cardstock, and colored it in my OLO alcohol markers. This piece will be the feature of the card. I created the card layers using the Neutral – Mix n match paper packet, and separated the patterned layers using dark brown cardstock. After die cutting a lot of trees from the Evergreen Trees die, I added them to the card front. Next I cut and colored (using the same markers and a texture rag), the sentiment and placed it on the large white panel. After adhering the tent together, I placed it over the sentiment and added “tent tie downs” with a fineliner pen.
I love using large sentiments, so I created my own “HEY” using the Bold ABC die set. For the finishing touches I wanted to add more texture, so I grabbed my white Nuvo Crystal drops, adding some to the front of the selected trees.
