Here is another fun one from the latest Whimsy release. An adorable mermaid coming out of a clam shell. This was super fun to create and perfect for those mermaid enthusiast. I combined one stamp with some fun dies to create this card.
Creating this Card:
The base layer of the card was a simple but cool die called Swiss Dots, and was popped up using foam tape off the base. I then cut out the Clam Shell die, and colorist using my OLO markers. After coloring the mermaid, and hand cutting her out, I placed her in the shell. You could also buy the complimenting Mermaid Moments outline dies. The mermaid and clam were also popped up off of the Swiss Dots. I added a sentiment from the Mermaid Moments Sentiments, and finished the card off with a few Nuvo Crystal Drops Dark Walnut “pearls”.
