Mistletoe Kisses – Exclusive Offer

Have you checked out the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember event yet? Amazing, limited, exclusive stamps from different companies, and today I am proudly representing La-La Land Crafts. La-La Land Crafts is one of the stamp companies that I love bunches. The owner Irina is a doll, and the products are ingenious, as well as quality. You will love this set, and the other La-La Land products I used.

Let me start by mentioning the ink pads I used for this project. I recently purchased the stamps pads by Catherine Pooler Designs. I loved them so much I invested in the whole range of them, as well as the refills. Catherine Pooler Designs stamp pads are absolutely delicious. The foam pad is very “smooshie”, enabling a perfect impression as seen on this card above. I am in love!! I shared the link for them below, so your life can be changed too.

Creating this Card:

Using my new Rockin’ Red ink, I stamped the background with the Seas the Day rubber background stamp. This was layered onto black cardstock, and wrapped with black twine before placing it onto the card base.

I die cut the the pocket using the Three Pockets die, and then stamped the pattern on to another pocket using the Twilight ink and Sweater Weather rubber background stamp. A panel was stamped with the same stamp, and then layered on the card using the Scalloped Rectangles die set. After adhering the pocket to the card, I added a tag from the Large Stitched Tags dies to the inside of the pocket.

This sweet hippo from Hippo Holidays clear stamps was colored, and then hand cut out. I thought the Stump and Twig die was perfect, so I die-cut, and colored it up. As you can see the hippo was placed on the stump, and the leaves and berries were added to mimic look of mistletoe.
