EEK!!!!

I thought I would whip up one more spooky holiday card, and seeing as I love the new EEK! die, I created a scene to go with it.  This is another card with no coloring, just fun playing.

Creating the Card:

I started out using the new Vintage Halloween 6×6 paper packet and die cut the first layer of the word EEK!, as well as used it for the mat layer of the card.  The Zombie Faces rubber stamp was stamped using a water-based ink, but after inking up the stamp I spritzed the stamp with a bit of water to get a more fuzzy appearing in the lines.  Not too much water, just a little.  Using some black card stock I added a short piece over the lower portion of the Zombie Faces.

After assembling the main layers I wanted to add some purple ribbon, but all I had was black and white, so I took a purple marker and colored the ribbon to match.  The ribbon was wrapped around the front of the card, and adhered to the back of the layers.  These layers were then adhered to the card base.

I die cut the ghosts from the Boo die set, and also die cut the house from Haunted Graveyard.  Once die cut they were assembled onto the card with the house being flat, and the ghosts being popped up off the card to give it dimension.

The last thing to do was to finish the sentiment, and so I die cut two more layers, in black and white.  In order to have it stand out a bit more I used the layer with the stitches and just slightly offset it a bit.
