I don’t know about you, but Spring brings the feeling of renewed strength. The flowers busting through the melted snow, the ice turning to flowing water, the birds chirping sounding louder. Our surroundings feel more alive. Maybe its just me, but I love spring. The new released paper from Whimsy Stamps reminds me of spring, so I thought I would throw on some cute birds to go along with it.
Card Details:
I know I have used the fabulous Slimline Pocket die already on a few cards, but I can’t help but use it some more. For this card I colored and hand cut the happy birds and flowers from the Spring Birds clear stamp set, and then layered them onto the pocket.
I love how the Slimline papers from Buttercup coordinate so well together, and so I embraced the blue and yellow theme. What fun to mix and match the patterns. If you are wondering about the cool scallop that is on the card in black, it is created using the die from the Kinetic Straight Basics. This die set is also used for slider cards, so is very multipurpose.
I hope you have a bit of Spring popping up around you too.
